Beechwood Garden

New Garden

Beechwood, A Center for Life Enrichment is pleased to announce that a fine garden has been designed by Landscape Architect and Master Gardener Kevin Alverson. This is a part of a joint project of the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society and the URI Master Gardeners. The garden will enhance the Center’s appearance and provide a colorful portion of a walkway close to the parking lot. The town of North Kingstown has given its approval to the project and we are ready to go to work – soon.

The key now is to bring together volunteer gardeners, to make a work plan; and also to address financial matters. Volunteerism however is the key ingredient.

We have scheduled a presentation for all interested parties at Beechwood for: Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 4:30 PM

The garden project designs will be displayed for your viewing. When completed this garden will be a lovely peaceful place to visit. Please come and see what we are planning! Consider pitching in to volunteer! We would love for you to be a part of this special project. Refreshments will be served.
