The Town of North Kingstown has been advised by the Rhode Island Department of Health that it will be receiving 130 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, to be provided to senior residents, 75 and older, on Sunday January 31 and Wednesday February 3rd.

The Town of North Kingstown has been advised by the Rhode Island Department of Health that it will be receiving 130 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, to be provided to senior residents, 75 and older, on Sunday January 31 and Wednesday February 3rd. The location of the medication distribution will be the South Road Elementary School 1157 South Road South Kingstown. This is a regional site for North Kingstown and surrounding towns. Under the guidance of the Department of Health, the town will be using the Rhode Island Special Needs Registry database to schedule appointments. RESIDENTS ON THE REGISTRY WILL BE CONTACTED VIA TELEPHONE BETWEEN JANUARY 28TH AND FEBRUARY 2ND TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. Once all residents on the special needs Emergency Registry have been immunized, the town will identify residents over the age of 75, using databases including voter registration, senior housing, and senior center membership.

As the Town receives additional doses in the coming weeks, residents 75 and older will be contacted, via telephone, to schedule an appointment.
