Wickford Art Festival 2019

The 2019 Wickford Art Festival will be held on Saturday July 13h and Sunday July 14th.

The following modifications to the usual parking situation will be in effect.  Parking will not be allowed on either side of; Main Street, Elam Street., Spink Street, Brown Street, Newtown Avenue, Franklin Street, Phillips Street, and West Main Street south of Newtown Avenue from 5:00 pm on Friday July 12th until the completion of street sweeping operations at approximately 7:00 pm on Sunday July 14th.  Other normal parking restrictions in the Main Street area will also be strictly enforced.

Arrangements will be made to accommodate any weddings or funerals and all regular church services at Wickford Churches.

Handicap parking will be available in the Municipal Parking Lot on Brown Street.  Persons should make their handicap situation known to the parking lot attendant at the entrance and they will be directed to the appropriate area.

As in the past, parking at the former Wickford Elementary School on Phillips Street, the Wickford Middle School on Tower Hill Road, and Wilson Park on West Main Street are recommended.  There will be a shuttle available from these locations to bring citizens to Brown Street at Shayna’s Place.  The shuttle will also be picking up and dropping off passengers on Church Street, behind St. Paul’s Parish House. The North Kingstown Police Department asks that all those attending the Art Festival strictly observe the "No Parking" areas.

Wickford area residents having any special situations or concerns should contact Deputy Chief Steven St. Onge of the North Kingstown Police Department at 294-3316 ext. 8200 prior to the Festival if possible.

The Police Department Art Festival Detail can be contacted through the police departments dispatcher and there will be an officer on duty at 55 Brown Street to assist the public.
